Clinic Grand Opening

On the 3rd July 2010 the Pensulo Clinic opened its doors for business.

The clinic was built with the combined efforts of staff from the Royal Bank of Scotland and volunteers from both Quest Overseas and Inspire-Worldwide expeditions. The Clinic Appeal campaign was a great success and raised a staggering £20,857 with the donations still coming in.

Already the clinic is being filled with beds and medicines so that the newly appointed nurse can get on with treatments for the local people of Pensulo. The clinic is now able to treat illnesses such as malaria and dehydration as well as acting as a maternity clinic for pregnant mothers.

Crowds gather to await the opening ceremony.
