Today the team of volunteers from Tonbridge Gramar kicked things off with a team brick line moving over 900
bricks and then had a late morning discussion with Chisanga and Chimemwe (Joshua Orphan and Community Care's Managers) about the
development issues facing people from the communities around Blantyre which led
on to a long and productive session on the impact of their project within
Manyenje.
Feeling energised and enthused after lunch the team
returned to site where they learned the art of brick laying taught by our
expert fundis - yes the walls are going up - Team 2 and 3 be prepared it will be your job to continue the good work!
Late afternoon saw another big game of football followed by a very welcome vegetable stir-fry prepared
by Becca M and Emily.
Stars were Becca S and Becca M for their continued hard work,
enthusiasm and helpfulness around the camp.
