Over the summer, we were delighted to welcome several groups of young people from different schools who have had a tremendously positive impact on our communities.
We were pleased to welcome two schools visiting Malawi from the UK: St Saviours and St Olave’s School from Elephant and Castle and two groups from Tonbridge
Grammar School from Kent. Students from St Saviours and St Olave's worked at Milo School in Pensulo, building new toilets and becoming
involved with school and community life: in the classrooms, sport, discussion
groups and with the Milo feeding centre.
The groups from Tonbridge Grammar School stayed in Manyenje where Joshua is gradually
establishing a primary school and built another much -needed classroom. This classroom has since had its grand opening much to the delight of all the pupils there, We also received a group through AMECA and Secret Compass who worked at
Chilaweni and set up a playground, helped to repair roofs and wrote some case
studies for us.
