In August, our Field Officers and Project Manager attended a course that was provided by Mary’s Meals to help support the on-going work in the community-based childcare centres. They learnt about many aspects of early learning, how to organise a classroom and to make simple materials. We are hoping to upgrade our Feeding Centres and to improve the quality of teaching so that children's learning and development is supported and they can grow to their best potential. This is an on-going ambition for Joshua and will involve gradually providing training for all our staff. Caregivers from some of the centres are also receiving training to help them run the centres on a daily basis.
